building in public

2026-10

this site is a work in progress on purpose. most of what’s on it is still being built, and i’d rather show that than wait until it looks finished.

why

i want to ship more personal projects than i otherwise would, and the cheapest way i know to keep going is to say what i’m doing where people can see it. a public page is a deadline. it’s also a record: writing down what a project is, what works and what doesn’t shows me what i actually understand.

the rule

each project page says what it is and what stage it’s at. toby is a robot whose software is tested in simulation, not on the real robot, so the page says that. the racing model hasn’t learned to drive yet, so the page says that. if a result isn’t there, the page doesn’t imply one.

what to expect

more projects across robotics, embedded systems and evaluating ai, with write-ups when something works and when it doesn’t. if you’re building in the same space, say hi. my links are in the footer.
